The process is very slow. If your financial aid is on hold, make sure to call every day because they may drop you from your classes without warning. This is my first time dealing with something like this. I’ve attended three different colleges, and unfortunately, this has been the worst experience.

The staff are very friendly and always willing to help students. I have been to different colleges, but my experience at RTC has been the best. They really care about helping students succeed

Came to write a test at the testing center in building J. Staff is very helpful. They explained the process, about lockers and everything went smooth.

Renton Technical College did not meet my expectations. I joined the CBE program in Winter 2026 but dropped my classes due to the teaching style. The instructor’s approach was not very engaging, and the course mainly focused on reading from the book without any lab work. I was hoping for more hands-on experience in a technical progra

Ik its unprofessional to leave a review especially if your hoping to get good referrals and support. But I had no support from my advisor, I understand the proffesor left so they found people to fill in. I brought my concerns forward and received no help. Learned very little, thank goodness im a journeyman already. Tech support cant assist with one drive. They only reset passwords. We don't have books or ways to rematch teachings. It's like remember what I said and move on. My begs for help lead to frustration. Anytime i ask for assistance or help the advisor takes it personal and shares her feelings with other staff, who then refuse to assist. Im definitely moving my concerns to a higher up beyond the school. ( half of my class went to Pierce college)
